A cape dory 28.

What kind of hose should I get and what.is the diameter of the hose ?

1 or 3/4 or 1/2 in ?

This is certainly not a definitive answer to your question but the sink drain on my last two boats were both 1 1/2”. I just recently replaced mine and I used Shields Flex 2 marine exhaust/water hose.

Mine is 1 1/2". I like the Vetus flexible water hose for its flexibility and durability.
