Hi Cathy Thanks for the reminder....Can hardly wait for the great food at Flanders!

The NE Fleet Meeting is a great excuse for a mid-winter getaway to the Connecticut shore, Foxwoods and to visit with sailing friends. The giveaway raffle is also a great opportunity to start Spring cleanup early. So bring your used boating stuff on down! Load your car with FUNCTIONAL new and used sailing-related gear, books and other items for the raffle. You need he room for good new stuff :D We'll also have some really good stuff from the CDSOA chandlery, thanks to Sandy and Jeni Davis. Remember someone else probably has just what you need and re-gifting is allowed!

See you all soon!

Hi Jim,
Thanks, got your registration #1 Outstanding!..... Looking for lots more :D .....Only 1 month to go till the Fleet Meeting at Flanders in East Lyme. Just time enough to scour the basement and garage for good stuff to add to the raffle. I do know of a brand new set of Spartan stuffing box wrenches, some great Chandlery stuff and lots more surprises that will be on the table. Bob Dugan’s presentation about sailing the Canadian maritimes is worth coming for, all on it’s own....totally outstanding! And then there’s the great Flanders food included at a bargain price of only $15 pp. New members and a guest are free.
So come on down have a great meal and spend a enjoyable afternoon with new and old friends planning next season’s sailing. Details and registration forms are in the NE Fleet Events section.

See you at Flanders Fish market on January 18, 2020

Happy Holidays!

You can donate any boating-related items as long as they're in good shape and they work.

Hi Walter,

Last year the raffle was great with some really good hard to find CD parts.....you can never tell what will turn up! Winches, anchors, electronics, rigging parts. So bring your good usable stuff....your extra stuff may be someone else's treasure.

See you there!

Better late than never, I was attempting to sign up for the winter meeting. I kept trying the links but couldn't get to the usual sign up form. Could someone post up, just the form as I know the rest of the drill, Steve.

Thanks Jim for helping out...Sorry Steve for the inconvenience. Only a little more than two weeks to go before our annual NE Fleet Meeting at Flanders. So it really is time to to get those registrations in. It’s going to be a great time, with a good speaker (Bob Dugan talking about cruising the Maritimes) great food and The Great Maritime Raffle. If anyone has any trouble downloading the PDF registration form, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email at rlascell[NO SPAM]@gmail.com (delete NO SPAM) I’ll send the form over to you right away. This meeting is a great opportunity to kick off planning for this summer’s cruise activities, so don’t miss it! :)

If you use your iPad or iPhone to download this event’s information/registration form, which is accomplished simply by clicking on the link in the original posting above or on our ‘Fleet Events’ page, in order to open the file you have to launch the Acrobat reader app and find the file on the list of PDFs. If you don’t see it in the ‘On this iPad’ location, select ‘More Locations’. You should find it there. But you really need to download it on your desktop computer or laptop so that you can print it.

Put on your thinking caps and bring your ideas for summer events both on and off the water. We’ll try to talk about them at the meeting.
