1982 Cape Dory 30, hull number 250. New main (Downs), new compass (Richie), new engine mounts, cutlass bearing and stuffing box. Soda-blasted bottom this spring and re-barrier-coat, leaving a lake-new bottom. Radar, GPS, VHF, and the usual cruising equipment and safety gear. Yard maintained by Crocker’s Boat Yard, Manchester, MA. Recent 2015 survey. Wheel steering. Island Girl is in excellent condition, just returned (end August) from a three week Maine cruise. Years ago, I took off the staysail and converted to a sloop with a 135 Genoa, improving upwind capability. Still have the staysail rigging and sail that will go with the boat. New engine in 1995 (Westebeke 20B). This boat is a classic and is great for a family. We are getting on in age and would love to pass her on to a young family ready to move up or a just retired couple. We are asking $20,000 or best offer which is a really good price for this vessel.
