This is the 0800 hours advisory for Hurricane Dorian. She is now a Cat. 5 hurricane with 160 mph winds Sadly, Dorian will go down in history as a devastating storm, one of the worst ever; possibly more devastating that Hurricane Andrew.
The Bahamas are starting to get pounded. Dorian slows to a crawl over Bahamas today and tomorrow. They will have 24-36 hours of sustained Cat. 5 winds. Almost unimaginable.
There will not be much left on many of the islands when Dorian is done. Nassau, Freeport, the Abacos will all be destroyed. Very, very sad. No need for imogies. The feelings should be apparent.
