I am in the process of replacing the sanitation hose from head to tank on cd25d. Am concerned that I won’t be able to get the cheaper defender hose on the barbed 90 degree fitting into the tank.
Can that fitting be removed without gumming up the threads or damaging fitting? Looks like there is some black bedding, caolk, sealant on the threads but I haven’t put a wrench on it.
IS THE VETUS HOSE REALLY MORE PLIABLE TO FIT OVER EXISTING BARB?

You might try using a heat gun to soften up the hose just before pressing it over the fitting.
