Since many of you up north are getting ready to get your boats in the water you should check the date on your GPS / Chart plotter.
On my Garmin GPS chartplotter the date was wrong. It was an easy fix to update the software for the network GPS receiver. For most stuff it didn't make much difference but the tide tables where definitely not correct! My older handheld Garmin was fine.

Thanks for the warning, Rich. I'm making my annual delivery from Portsmouth, NH to Poorhouse Cove this weekend. I'll definitely check it out. Mine's a Garmin, too.
