Thanks for all the time and effort you have put in getting this event scheduled. I just filled out my registration form and it will be in the mail this morning.
Looking forward to renewing old friendships and meeting new members. The guest speaker is knowledgeable, entertaining, and reputed to be a connoisseur of fine single malt beverages.
There is plenty of time to arrange our personal schedules to allow for attendance and gather our treasures for inclusion the Nautical Raffle. See you there!

It’s a good ole team effort to pull together a Fleet event, but it’s really a lot of fun! Jim looking forward to seeing you at Flanders and to hearing about sailing to Bermuda....We had a great time at last year’s meeting, and are looking forward to a great time again this year. Just one reminder to all attendees.... The Nautical Raffle is the best opportunity you’ll get all year to clean out excess good nautical stuff from your lockers........and to get more good nautical stuff (without any guilt)! . So start putting stuff aside.....

I know it's way early, but if anyone is interested in carpooling from New Hampshire, let me know. My wife has another commitment that day, so I'll be driving alone.

Last year, I came home with a very nice real CQR anchor. I got my dues back in that one find. Thanks, Jim!

If you’re like me, between Christmas and New Years there’s finally time for some time off.....so while I was sitting here relaxing it dawned on me, the Northeast Fleet’s first event of 2019 is coming up soon. The Annual NE Fleet Meeting is in only three weeks away on Jan 19! Don’t delay, send your registration in ASAP. You know how good the food is at Flander’s. The Annual Fleet Meeting is a great opportunity to begin planning the season ahead with new and old Cape Dory friends. Neil Gordon, our speaker this year, will have a lot to tell us about the upcoming family sail on the SV Clearwater and about Clearwater herself. By the way, tickets for the sail are still available, so don’t forget to get in touch with Neil about sailing aboard Clearwater on the Hudson River this Spring. While there’s time, start getting those nautical treasures together for the Giant RAFFLE. Fill out the registration form in the NE Fleet Events page http://www.capedory.org/fleetevents/NE- ... terMtg.pdf and send it on in......
Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Thanks Bob and Doug for putting this event together. Only 18 days remaining before the big event. Plenty of time to scour our attics, basements, and garages for all those items to be added to the free raffle. Great speaker, great food, great conversation, free stuff.....
A good time is always had by all!

Gets harder and harder each year to find stuff to haul down to the Winter Meeting, although sometimes I just bring some of the stuff I carried off from the prior year's meeting.

Don’t worry Neil Re-gifts are part of the fun, bring em along. Especially when it’s good stuff we might have missed out on last year! :D There’ll also be some good new stuff from the CD Chandlery on the table and some interesting finds from the Cape Dory/ Robinhood Cove Yard Sale last Spring. So get those registrations in....See you there!

Less than two weeks to go before the Northeast Fleet Winter Meeting on Sat Jan 19 ....time to get your registration in the mail. Make your First Mate happy :) Scour out your lockers, bookshelves and hiding places for excess nautical treasures. There’s always a need for your unwanted good stuff on the raffle table. Neil Gordon’s presentation about S/V Clearwater and the upcoming Spring sail is going to be great and so is the food at Flanders. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week at the Northeast Fleet meeting!

I've put together a short slide presentation on Clearwater, including a short video... and a few added slides on how a Hudson River jibe is executed.

Looking forward, as well, to sailing on Clearwater in April, with as many CDSOA friends as possible. Bring your checkbooks!!! (Tickets are $50 each; $40 for CDSOA members.)

Only one week to go before the great annual NE Fleet Meeting! Still time to send in your in your registration. Good food & good company, what better way to spend a mid-winter Saturday? Neil, we’re really looking forward to hearing about sailing on S/V Clearwater. Our grand daughter, Adelaide is over the moon about going sailing with us on the Hudson, so I have to report back. There’ll be some great stuff in the raffle, you know you feel lucky! Remember to make time for the after party at Ruth & Leo MacDonald’s, it’s always lots of fun.
See you all at Flanders :)

No snow in the forecast for East Lyme so there should be exemplary travel conditions for our meeting. :D
