I was told that four of these were built. I have never seen any written information on them. I thought saw one here in Maine several summers ago... I am not sure that it was a 45(it was much bigger than a 36), but it was not very old. It had the right shape and CD was on the cove stripe... Anyone know the story on these?

Actually, there were three built. Hull #1, "Resolution", has a navy hull; hull #2, "Victory", has a dark green hull; and hull #3, Semper Fie" is white. I know all this 'cause I'm the very proud owner of "Victory". I keep her stored for the winter at the Hinckley yard in Southwest Harbor, Maine, and generally take her to Martha's Vineyard for the summer. Feel free to dingy by and say hello if you're out & about.

Ahh... That explains that! I thought I saw one over at the Hinkley yard... (I'm living in Southwest Harbor right now, just down the street from Morris...) The one I saw in the water had a very dark hull, must have been you... I ran across her several times while I was working as the mate on the Schooner American Eagle. It was a passenger who told me that there were four... Now I know the real story.... Thanks...Mike Greenberg wrote: Actually, there were three built.
