Cape Dory 10 Restoration Help
Hello all I am new to this site and joined so I could ask some questions regarding my restoration of my grandparents Cape Dory 10. I enjoy sailing and have done small patch jobs to keep her afloat but I finally decided to strip her down and really put some work into her this summer. My grandfather has access to the varnish, paint, teak, and everything else I need but I'm just not sure what I need. Does anyone know where I could possibly find blueprints and a bill of materials for a Cape Dory 10? I've done some googling and come up empty-handed. I really want to replace all the old stripped hardware (screws and bolts) and I want to fill all the old holes so I have something to drill into (we are planning on using a 2-stage epoxy) and possibly even replace some pieces all together and it would just be easier if I had a bill of materials instead of sorting and counting all the screws and bolts just to try to identify them. Any other tips when it comes to CD10 restoration would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

everything you need can be found at jamestown distributers. https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/u ... &page=GRID
take your screw to a hardware store and ask them what size it is and then you can match it with bronze.

You might buy or borrow a vernier or dial caliper to measure all the needed screws and bolts (diameter and length)
and order online because most hardware stores don't carry bronze. Hamilton Marine in Maine is another good
source for hardware. Good luck with your project - Jean

Thank you all for your help! I actually work at a machine shop so I was able to size all the hardware there and my grandfather placed an order for hardware and I guess he has a connection when it comes to Cape Dory paints and parts because he has a Cape Dory 28 and used to be the USCGA Commodore for the Northeast. Here are some pics of the boat before restoration efforts.

Its been a while but for those interested here is the finished boat. I did take the pictures before installing the new triangular piece for the mast up front.
