I would like to try my spinnaker - the boat came with a pole and a symmetrical one but no gears and I have no idea on how to set it up. Se below a few basic questions, hope you can help and if you have any pictures of yours, that would help as well:
1. Do I need a topping lift? And if so, does it go to the middle of the pole or the end of the pole? And where does it start on the mast? I see a small ring a bit above the ring.
2. Am I supposed to have sheet and guy or sheet only? If so, is there a way to set up a foreguy?
