After losing their Island Trader sailboat to Irma in the Keys last year, the kids (my Daughter and Son in Law) have signed a contract to purchase a Lord Nelson Victory Tug. While not a Cape Dory (I tried) it is still a very unique boat with lots of character. It fits them well in that my SIL has his 1600 ton license (just passed it) and works on a tug in Ft Lauderdale. And my Daughter loves boats (I can't imaging where she got that trait!!??!!).
Well enough chat - If anyone knows of a good surveyor in the Geneva/Waterloo NY area, please pass along their info.
Also, if anyone knows of a loan institution that does loans for older boats, that would be go info to have as well.
Thank you in advance.
