Re: urgent replace kubota water pump
Loosen alternator adjustment nut and base nut, no need to remove nuts and bolts
remove belt.
Remember the position of the pump and mark the flow direction with magic marker, a simple arrow for water flow works and the depth that pump is set into block.
There are two (9mm?) bolts that hold the two brackets at the base of the pump onto the block in place. Remove these two bolts and brackets. Careful not to drop them.
The pump is gear driven and should wiggle out relatively easy.
Reverse process to install, make sure the slot at the end of the pump shank fits firmly into place.
Prior to, I believe July 06 the pump is a Jabsco #207-61500 (29460-1631)
After July 06 Beta switched to the Johnson pump #207-05355
If you are not sure what year the engine is, find the WOC K# on the valve cover and call Stanley or Farron @Beta Marine US. in North Carolina for correct parts. There are rebuild kits available for both pumps. If you are not comfortable rebuilding, get a new one and the rebuild kit for the old pump as back up. and rebuild at leisure.

Re: urgent replace kubota water pump
I might add: it's not completely necessary to remove the belt. It just makes it easier to access the bolts holding pump in place.
