1974 Cape Dory 25 hull# 175 for sale. She is restored to her original beauty and updated with modern amenities like LED Navigation and Cabin lights, digital Battery Monitor, Solar battery charger, and air vent.
New bright work, interior restored and new upholstery in 2017. Hull coat in flag blue in 2015 with white waterline and green bottom paint
Powered by a 2005 9.9 HP Mercury 4 stroke. 150% Harken furling Genua and 100% Main both in good condition
Berthed at Legend Point Marina, Clear Lake, Galveston Bay - Texas

Ahoy Graziella and thank you for looking. I use "Le Tonkinois" for my bright work. It's a linseed oil based natural varnish which has been around for a long time. Very easy to apply because it's a single application product and it flows perfectly. It can be applied over existing varnishes after sanding. I normally sand before the first 2 coats and then apply up to 6 coats depending on the surface. Le Tonkinois is being distributed by American Rope & Tar LLC here in the US.

The interior of this 43 year old Cape Dory 25 has to be the most Bristol of any Cape Dory 25 I have ever seen. It may well be one of the most beautiful Cape Dorys regardless of size that I have ever seen.
