The registration form for this year's Annual Meeting, hosted by the Northeast Fleet, has now been posted. The Sept. 16 event will take place in the scenic, historic and downright yar locale of Mystic, Connecticut. The event, somewhat streamlined this year, will feature a tasty barbecue, a thirs- quenching cash bar, with plenty of black rum and ginger beer, a General Membership Meeting and a talk by CDSOA member Lisa Goodwin about sailing aboard tall ships. What could be more appropriate for the home town of the Mystic Seaport?

Commodore for the 2nd time in twenty plus years sadly the Admiral and I will not be in attendance at the Annual Meeting. I love the chosen venue and would love to be there but alas adventures in the wild west were scheduled long before the annual meeting.
Hoping for a great turn out as it is a wonderful organization and the Annual Meeting is always a blast.

Bruce and I have just returned from a trip out west. We visited Yellowstone Natl. Park as well as Grand Teton Natl. Park and watched the solar eclipse from Victor, ID. In all we visited 4 states: Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Have a great trip!

Yes we noticed yawls little sojourn out west. We'll be at the North Rim for a week, go to Kanab to do laundry for 2 days, then back to the Rim for a few more days.
Absolutely Love the North Rim and Kanab, UT. Tell Bruce Hey for us.
