CD27 port replacement gaskey
Nothing like a ton of rain to bring "Replace gasket" to the top of the to-do list. After reading a ton of "How in the world do you get the old stuff out and the stuff in", I can't for the life of me figure out where to get the actual replacement gasket.
On behalf of my soggy cushions, thanks!

Re: CD27 port replacement gaskey
You can get get pre formed pieces from Spartan marine or you can get the rubber material from McMaster Carr for a lot less money. Getting the old ones out is a careful exercise with a screwdriver, knife, popsicle sticks and the West system stirring sticks. Use a 3M abrasive pad for the final cleaning; maroon is good but grocery store green is ok too. Installation is contact cement. There have been several posts about this in the past. I found no need for the special installation template.

Thx Steve, I've been following the travels of the jig for awhile!
I assume the gasket is 3/8" style D gasket?

If you've followed this topic, you'll know that Steve's jig works beautifully.
Also, I have most of a roll of gasketing material that I ordered from McMaster-Carr two seasons ago. Let me know how much you need, and I can send it to you for the cost of shipping.
My cushions have been very happy since I replaced my port gaskets. Good luck.
