Can Anyone Tell me what this piece is for? found it in my boat parts. The round piece screws out.

It almost looks familiar... but not quite... in my garage it would now be classified as raw material.
That's partly why my garage is a mess, but I can frequently "McGyver" a solution with what's on hand!

That's the bracket for a compass. I have the same one on my Ty, but I forget the brand. Aqua-something?

Aqua Meter! That's it. Here it is in place, with the compass.
