Disappointingly, we only had one other Cape Dory crew with us on July 3rd in the Norwalk Islands. But the crew of that one boat were great company. Realization and Duo were anchored north of Shea Island and west of Chimon Island in what turned out to be a very busy powerboat thorofare. But that didn't stop us from sharing libations and a potluck dinner aboard Realization. Thanks to the crew of the Intrepid 9M Duo: Tyler, Kevin, Craig and Ari (hope I got everyone's names correct) for keeping us company during the fireworks.

Nobody signed up for the Oyster Bay leg of the 2-day float-in so we sailed to Northport, NY instead where Bruce and I enjoyed a beautiful sunset and some more fireworks.
