Typhoon Transom width

Post by Joe CD MS 300 »

I'm ordering a boat name graphic for my Typhoon which is presently 450 miles NE of home. Does anyone know the width of the transom to help me with the sizing?

Thanks

Joe

I do not, BUT having just put new graphics on a transom, there are more things to worry about than just the width. How far down on the transom will your lettering extend? is there anything in the way that might restrict the graphics, motor mount, stern ladder, pintles, through hull fittings, etc?

Nothing on the transom.

I'm kind of sticking my neck out because I don't own a Typhoon, but scaling the drawings I come up with roughly 3'10" across and
about 17" high. Hopefully someone with a Typhoon in the back yard can give you a more definite number. - Jean

My Typhoon actually is in my backyard, but I am not. Frenchy's numbers sound like they're in the ballpark. I can confirm them later today, if no one else shows up with hard data before then.

Frenchy got it close! I measured 3' 11.5" across from corner to corner (excluding the rubrail) and 19.5" tall.
