Adding Grab Rails

I would like to add some interior grab rails to my CD 28. I would like to have them running along the ceiling fore and aft. Has anyone else done this? I would like them to be strong enough to secure lee clothes to etc. Ideally they would be bonded to the cabin liner and not thru bolted. (I would like to avoid more holes in the deck. Any advice or examples?

I have them on my 28. They were installed by the P.O. They bolt thru the interior handrails to the handrails on deck. In effect sandwiching the deck. I'll try to shoot some photos next time I'm at the boat.
