CD32 Realization has new curtains. I removed the old curtains from the boat several years ago. They foam backing had come off of many of them so they just looked plain awful. So we have been cruising for several years without any curtains, which wasn't a problem until last year when we found ourselves at a dock sandwiched between two behemoth powerboats. We felt like we didn't have any privacy, especially at night, so Bruce taped paper towels over the ports. So I finally made new curtains -- 16 individual panels (2 each for Realization's 8 ports).
I purchased two 84-inch polyester lined panels from Lowes (Allen & Roth "Glenellen"). I purchased the curtain tab tape from SailRite. Then I disassembled one of the old curtains so that I could see how it was made and make a template or pattern for the new curtains. Anyway, here's the result.

Nice work Cathy. I envy those who possess the skill to complete a project such as yours.
When I purchased Orion in 2006 she still had the original CD curtains. The exposure to sunlight had similarly wreaked havoc upon the panels and they had become tattered. I discovered, via this forum, that the original supplier is still a thriving business. When I phoned them they said they still had the patterns and would have no problem making up a new set. I found them very reasonable and prompt.
