You have a good reason to drink a Guinness tomorrow. Happy St. Paddy's Day.
Have another on Sunday for St. Joseph's Day.
Do they do St. Joseph's Day altars in Miami?
I'm only Italian by marriage but I'll have a Guinness and a fig cookie Sunday.

Captain Hook:

You are very kind. Yes, I have provisioned with a sufficient supply of Guinness for tomorrow. I have also reserved a quantity of corned beef and potatoes with some cabbage.

I am not aware of anyone celebrating St. Joseph's Day in Miami. Joseph is my middle name so I will offer a celebratory drink on 19 March. Nonna had the best recipe for fig cookies. I was always given 2-3 right when they came out of the oven. THE BEST :!:

It is my understanding that if you are married to an Italian you are entitled to claim "Italian by Marriage" and celebrate as Italian. If I may say, as I am sure you know, you are a very fortunate man to be married to an Italian lady. You're a paisano :!: :D I have fond memories of Columbus Day in my hometown - a large Italian population. One of these days I'm going to start a petition drive for "Italian History Month". October would be a good month for that.

Efforts continue on projects listed for S/V Bali Ha'i. A few personal issues have caused minor delays. This board has been outstanding in offering suggestions and recommendations for so many of my projects. For me, this board is one of the strongest selling points for anyone who is thinking about investing in a Cape Dory sailboat.

Again, Captain Hook, many thanks for your kind thoughts.
Fair winds,

Roberto

Roberto, do you have enough remaining provisions left to celebrate St. Joseph's Day?

Captain Hook:

We have placed a "priority resupply request" for another keg of Guinness for tomorrow.
