In the March 2017 issue of SAILING there is a very nice article about the Cape Dory 28 featured in the "Used Boat Notebook" section. It quotes Keith Fawcett (S/V Sea Hound) and Jim Engle (S/V Entropy II). There is also a reference to Fred Bickum and his refit of S/V Fenix.

All in all a good article with many positive comments about the Cape Dory 28 and naval architect Carl Alberg.

Some day perhaps SAILING will do an article on the Cape Dory 25D. Finger crossed :!:

The former S/V Sea Hound is docked at South Shore Harbor a few piers down from my boat.

The current owner, Scarth Clark, is a CDSOA member.

I told him about the article and he said he'd seen it.

He's renamed the boat, forget what she's named now, and he says he performed the proper ceremony to appease Neptune when he renamed her.
