Sailing today in Oriental, NC February 19, 2017
Light winds today, but at 72 degrees my son and I were able to get his 1979 CD 25 (hull number 676) sailing to try out the new sails, new autopilot, new running rigging, new Garmin plotter, new depth gauge, new vhf, and new Yamaha 6hp four stroke. We have worked hard to refit her since October. I have completed a bottom job, waxed the hull, repainted the boot stripe, and added a new interior cushions. I still have to repaint the non skid and refinish the teak.

I cross country skied a few days ago and sailed Raven yesterday. The skiing was nice but the sailing was excellent. 10 to 15 knots with 1 foot waves and temps in the high 40s to lower 50s. Not bad at all for a mid February day on Fishers Island Sound, Steve.

A good looking boat and a happy helmsman! I probably won't launch until Memorial Day so I'm envious. - Jean
