I've completed my online registration. Only a good old New England blizzard might keep me from attending

Re: Northeast Fleet Cabin Fever Luncheon - 25 Feb 2017
Thanks Jim..... Looking forward to seeing you at the Cabin Fever Lunch!
Let's keep our fingers crossed for fair weather in Dover, NH....sunny and warm . Early reservations are a really big help because they let Newick's plan for enough waitstaff.
In addition, to Newick's great food and drink there will be plenty of time to socialize, and a raffle of great CD stuff from the CD Chandlery as door prizes (thanks to Sandy Davis and his team).
To get ready for the sailing season, Paul Giraux from Giraux Rigging and Marine will be our guest speaker. Paul is an experienced blue water sailor and rigger from South Berwick, Maine and will be talking about inspecting and setting up our rigs for the season, new rope technologies and all the good stuff about how to keep the mast vertical
Each attendee gets a 2017 NE Fleet CF Lunch coffee mug (with the secret CD "boat of the year" pictured thereon) as supplies last!
ALL CDSOA members and anyone else interested in Cape Dorys are invited.
Please see the events page for the reservation forms and come join us Saturday, February 25 at Newicks Seafood Restaurant in Dover Point, NH.
Fair winds

To all members in northern New England,
Last year was our first Cabin Fever luncheon. We had a blast. So well organized and so nice to meet all the other owners.
So, we strongly, affirmatively, positively and most assuredly recommend your attendance. Well worth the trip.
But we have a question: We don't get "cabin fever" as we live in a small (800 sq. ft.) condo for the winter. We do get "condo fever."
So, can we still attend the luncheon?
Cheers!
Jen and Terry

Re: Northeast Fleet Cabin Fever Luncheon - 25 Feb 2017
Hi Jen & Terry Glad to hear you enjoyed the Cabin (Condo) Fever Lunch so much last year It's a definitely a good chance to enjoy some hearty New England food & drink and spend some time with fellow CD sailors. Just a nice, casual time. Last year Les Hyde and Anne Cogger did a super great job as our speakers, talking about their sailing adventures and the Maine Cruise. This year I'm personally looking forward to our speaker, Paul Giraux who is a well known rigger here in the Seacoast. My rig definitely can use some help! And what about this year's secret Cape Dory of the Year mugs? Any guesses?

Re: Northeast Fleet Cabin Fever Luncheon - 25 Feb 2017
Cabin Fever Lunch Reminder!!!! Super Bowl LI is in the books, it was a really good game between two great teams, (just glad I stayed tuned in till the end!) Now all you lucky winners in the office pool (we are in the NE after all!) have no excuse about taking the crew to the Cabin Fever Lunch at 12:00pm on Feb 25 at Newicks Seafood Restaurant in Dover NH!!!
Just a note....We may be having a little trouble with the registration process, (We've had several members who thought they had registered, but the form did not come through on our end). If you don't receive an email acknowledgement directly from me or Susan (within a day or so of registering on the website), please send us an email directly so that we know you are coming and Newicks can make sure they have enough waitstaff on. Email to rlascellNOSPAM@gmail.com, don't forget to delete NOSPAM.
Think good weather!
