Don't forget to snap some photos while you work on that boat project, then share them here.

Brightwork Product

Post by sailorpappy »

I've scraped and sanded the rub/toe rail on my cd28 in prep for a new finish. Thinking of using Awlgrip M3131 for the first coat and following up with several coats of clear Cetol. What do you think? Skibbereen is in south Georgia, soon to be in South Carolina.

Why mix brands? I just did a cockpit table last year using Cetol Natural with the clear Cetol on top. Came out well. There are some pix in an earlier thread.
