Great job on the Annual Fleet Meeting! :) The swap was awesome, the food really good and Steve Laume's slide show and talk about his trip on Raven to New Foundland and back was super. My wife, Susan can't stop talking about Sable Island. A great time with a great group of sailors! Thanks so much.

Can't wait to get together again in February.

The 2017 CDSOA Northeast Fleet Annual Meeting and Luncheon was attended by 18 returning and 5 new members. Fleet Captain James Walsh and current CDSOA Commodore and Past Northeast Fleet Captain Joe Myerson held a brief business meeting. The Northeast Fleet is hosting the CDSOA Annual Meeting this year, and it will be in the Mystic CT area on the weekend of Sept. 15 - 17, 2017. Volunteers are needed to help organize the event.

Bob and Susan Lascelles will again be hosting the Cabin Fever Luncheon at Newick’s in Dover NH on Feb. 25, 2017. Registration is available on the CDSOA website. Information on this year’s Maine Cruise, the Lake Champlain Float-In, and other summer events will also be posted as available.

After lunch, Steve Laume gave a fascinating presentation on his singlehanded sail from Fishers Island Sound to Newfoundland and back on his CD30 Raven. The meeting wound up with a raffle of new and gently used sailing items and beautiful Chandlery items.

Bruce Halley, Northeast Fleet Secretary, CD32 Realization.
