seacock lube

Post by sailorpappy »

I have an old tube of Lubriplate. Okay to use that or would Never-Seize be better? Thanks

Morey's Red comes highly recommended by just about everyone here. One tube will last you and your friends a lifetime and a half.

Or....a 6 oz. container of Spartan Seacock Grease will last you a lifetime with some left over to help out a friend occasionally

I got a can of red grease from NAPA. It is not Morey"s but works very well for 2 to 3 years between servicing. Do not use never seize, Steve.

I've been using Spartan's product for about thirty years. Has worked well, but tastes terrible.
