The yard replaced the lines to and from the fuel tanks on my Volvo TAMD41B diesel inboard engines. Three months later, they're leaking.
If you have this engine with original hoses, can you tell me what the hose diameter is?
The yard used 3/8" - 9.5mm hoses. The barbs are 9mm and the hose goes off and on easily unless clamped. Is this acceptable?
Should the clamps be over the narrow part of the fitting (to hold the hose on) or the barbs? Or try to fit two clamps on?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Volvo TAMD41B Fuel Hose Question
I can't answer your exact question, but:
When I replaces the fuel tank on my MD7A-powered CD30 I had to use some odd sized hose, like 7/32 to get it to fit right.
I think the hose should mostly stay on the barb by itself and the clamp just secures it. You should not need (or use) two clamps on any fuel fitting.
