ERROR MESSAGE
I have attempted several times over the last month or so to respond to a thread about tacking a cutter. Every time I attempt to repond I get the below error message. Any thoughts about what is happening? I have had no trouble posting from my phone, ipad or computer other than this particular thread. I really don't care about responding now but I am curious about why the error message. I originally wrote the post on my iphone or ipad. It's a long response so I have not attempted to rewrite it from scratch.
Thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

GA John
Is this the title of the thread that's giving you trouble?
"Suggestions on coming about on a cutter"

Re: ERROR MESSAGE
Negative. I can't post that particular message in the thread window. I wonder why. Like there is a code issue embedded in the original text narrative and if so, why is that? Dunno--but I'm curious.

Re: ERROR MESSAGE
Try posting only the first half. See if that works, if it does then post the last half in a followup post

Re: ERROR MESSAGE
Ok. I even sent it to my PC then transferred it to MS word then reposted on the forum from the PC and it was rejected. So I'll try your suggestion Tim.
Re: ERROR MESSAGE
If using cut'n'paste across multiple platforms, you could be inadvertently picking up a double-byte (i.e.non-ASCII) character that mssql doesn't like...

Re: ERROR MESSAGE
I think it's something like what you described. But what's weird to me is I usually type on my iphone or iPad in the notes section. Then cut and past it into the forum thread window without a problem. That way if I don't complete it or want to think about it before I post it I don't lose it. I tried saving a couple times using the save feature on the forum but got burned when it vanished into cyber space and that cured me of that approach. .

John S.:
As everyone on this board well knows, when it comes to computers I am, in the words of my goddaughter, a "Neanderthal". I am still trying to figure out what "http" means at the front of a website address.
That said, I have a buddy who is a true computer geek with one of those alphabet soup agencies that no one ever hears about or even knows about. He suggested that sometimes it is as simple as cleaning up the computer's operating system. He suggested deleting cookies (unless they are the good kind like butter cookies), temporary files, history, passwords, etc. He suggested that this sometimes cures the issue.
Good luck. I enjoy your posts and would be disappointed to not be able to read them because you cannot post them.
If I ever find out what "http" means I will be sure to let this board know of my success.
