It is with bittersweet emotion that I am selling my 1977 Cape Dory 30 cutter. I'm moving up to a larger sailboat. Meridian has been cared for with great attention to detail over the years. Description
Meridian is a very solid, classically designed 1977 Cape Dory 30 cutter sailboat in excellent condition.  Her topsides and brightwork show beautifully. Meridian’s interior is warm and inviting. Meridian sails beautifully. Continual upgrades make this Cape Dory a unique vessel at sea or at any port of call. Meridian has been very well cared for.

Volvo MD7A runs well. Sails in great condition: Main (2005), Main (older), Staysail(2005), Yankee (2005-hank-on-never used), Genoa (good condition-rollerfurling), Asymmetrical Spinnaker.

It's bittersweet for sure. I'll always love my CD30. I bought a 1980 Young Sun 35, a double-ender, very similar to a Tayana 37. I've got some work ahead of me. A bottom project, rewiring, and caprail work is underway and a deck re-core will be on the horizon. It will be a fun project. I was looking for a CD36, too, but it didn't work out.

I've learned a ton from this forum and I'm sure I'll continue to visit. Thanks to all who've shared their experiences and expertise here. David, I hope to see you out on the water, sometime! Perhaps I'll make it to St. Joseph on a cruise in the next few years.
