Aluminum heat exchanger anodes?

Hey sailors,

So we're switching to aluminum prop anodes this year in prep for a cruise from salt to fresh water.

This got me wondering if an aluminum HX anode is a good idea. The problem is, I can't find anyone that sells them.

Any thoughts on:

1. If the aluminum HX anode is necessary, and

2. Where to find them.
