Need to know pipe size (diameter) for a CD25 sink thru hull?

hello all,

I am hoping to replace my thru hull and gate valve during my next haul out.

The location of this thru hull is beneath the sink and serves as the outlet for drain.

Can anyone let me know if the pipe size for this thru hull is ??? 1/2" or 3/4" or 1" or 1 - 1/4" ???

If not mistaken, I think it is 3/4". Going by memory here which can be potentially hazardous.

Is the 3/4 the inside or outside diameter of the thru hull fitting?

To confirm, you are asking about the diameter of the thru hull mushroom fitting, not the seacock, correct?

That's correct.

The mushroom fitting (thru hull) requires a specific pipe diameter Sea Cock or Gate Valve.

I would think the measurement would be the same if the diameter of the threaded pipe is the correct measure.

Will look into your suggestion.

Hi Adam,

The sink drain thru hull on my 25 is a 3/4" thru hull. The inside diameter of the thru hull determines its size. if you remove the gate valve and measure the inside diameter of the thru hull at the open threaded end that will give you the thru hull size.

For reference the outside diameter of the mushroom head on a 3/4" Groco thru hull is 1 7/8".
