Made Beaufort NC, this place rules. Very friendly people, nice harbor, a little bit like heaven. Good sailing all the way, swamps and rivers, always room to tack a 25. 27 ft waves in the gulf stream today, glad I'm not out there. Chris.

Chris,
Welcome to Heaven, but for Heaven's sake, hush up! Don't tell! The channel is already too busy on weekends.
When are you heading south?

I'm going to try to leave by next week, run down and touch the Florida border by the end of February, then head back north. I say try, because everybody here says they stopped for a couple days and it turned into ten years. They tell me I should have left the second day, now I may as well get a PO box. C.
