Hatch Support

Post by Markst95 »

Can't get this adjustable hatch support to lock, when I tighten the finger lock, the riser still moves smoothly. Looks like there is something missing, possibly an "O" Ring that rides along inside the finger lock. Any Thoughts?

Are you sure you have all of the pieces? Those threads look wrong to me, could they really be that worn? Are there any slots in the threaded portion? If not, I don't see how it could tighten down on the rod.

no there are no slots in the threads. Thats why I was thinking an o ring or maybe some kind of teflon insert would compress when the threads would tighten.
