Cape Dory 36

Post by moctrams »

Who ever owns a Cape Dory 36 # 19, the Bronze plaque is listed on eBay. Lister said he got the plaque from an estate sale. I wonder if the estate owner had the boat and kept the plaque.

Hi, all, I may try to buy this plate off eBay.

I mean, if it is less than $66, it is **almost** as good as the commemorative plate!

However, if anyone on this forum, especially the owner of #19, wants it, reply or PM me, I don't want to bid up the price, and I'm not all that invested in getting this one.

I have one right now with the right length and number printed on it, attached to my boat!!

But still, it is brass, and if I ever have to smelt a cannon...

I bid the minimum, and won it. Don't need it or want it, so it will be on my shelf waiting for the owner of #19 to surface. Glad I bid, as it might otherwise have been lost.

#19 owner - it is yours if you show up and want it.
