Does this come with a renewal? If so, what about the members that have signed up for multiple years?

Got mine today. Thanks to all who were involved in R&D, mailing, etc. Impressive.

We should have a contest on "best places to put the sticker".

P.S. Walsh, you are not allowed to suggest "stick it on your $%#&!!" :D  :D

I'm a multiple year member and I've received mine so I'd expect yours to be in the mail.

What about getting a quote on getting them actually cast in bronze. Can take a poll before hand and see what we would all be willing to pay and how many to see if it is worth the order. Then keep a few for the ships store. I don't know. Good Idea or Bad Idea?

Even though we are relatively short timers on Cape Dory as we bought an Island Packet last year and the CD (if I can truly bring myself to do it) will go up for serious sale this summer, we would purchase one to screw into the bulkhead of the old CD.

Good point and I hadn't thought about multi-year folks. We'll work on it!

Joemerchant

your point about bronze plate is in the works as well as apparel. Hopefully "coming soon" (both).

I thought the multi-year question was settled here.

To All,

Membership cards and decals were sent to all current members, including multi year members, that had mailed in their dues prior to about 15 January. We have received about 24 renewals since then, and we will mail cards and decals to them in a batch, probably early next week. If you have not paid your dues click on the big yellow banner at the top of this page to be included in that batch.

We are taking the issue of bronze castings for action and will be asking for quotes from several sources that we know of. When we learn more we will pass it on. Our initial thinking is that the Association will pick up the set up fee with the agreement that CDSOA members receive a discounted price for their individual orders.

Yeah, we just got our sticker and were amazed at how nice it looks. And to hear that a bronze version is in the works is exciting. I'm already thinking of a nice teak or mahogany wall plaque for it.

Thanks to all for getting these projects to fruition.

Now, where to put our new sticker?
