It's time we sink our teeth into a really good topic.

What's on your wish list, either for the Captain, the First Mate, or the boat? Is it a new chartplotter, a new foul weather jacket, or perhaps a new pair of binoculars? No wrong answers here. Christmas came early for the SV Aloha Spirit. Blue Sea Systems built a new 12 volt distribution panel. Now my challenge is to: A. Frame-out a new cabinet where it goes and... B. Wire it up and install it.

I can't wait to see the replies on this topic!

Ah….This time of year when the snow is on the ground and the vessel is under her shrink wrap, I invariably start thinking of an all encompassing heating system of some sort. A heater that will warm the cabin, be unobtrusive, is easy to install, economical on fuel and not make a sound. I would love it if it could heat the water as well but we need to be reasonable, don't we?

So that is what Mariah wants for Christmas if I may be so bold as to speak for her.
