I'm looking to find or make replacement companionway hatch (crib) boards for my CD 25. Any tips, ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Re: CD 25 Companionway hatch boards
David,
If you cannot use your old ones as a template, mock up some out of cardboard or old plywood. I suggest using teak or similar hardwood. If you don't have any model to use and you are making them yourself, be sure to angle the tops of the hatchboards so they drain towards the cockpit. I reckon mine are about a 35 degree angle for a 3/4" thick board.
Seal with a good finish so they don't swell in the slots. I use plenty of coats of Epiphanies gloss varnish for these.
