We have had our 28CD since 2000, and at first I found that the 135 genoa that came with it just
did not make it! In fact, we almost put the boat up for sale.

US Sails made my day when their rep came up to measure my boat and built a 154 genoa. As we
sail in northwest waters, I have found this sail to do everything I need. As an example, we traveled
for over 70 days this summer (and over a thousand miles) and only put up the mainsail twice.
With the genoa, we travel easily at 4 knots in moderate winds without the worry of too much sail.
(I am 76 years old and lazy!) If the wind was blowing over 25 knots I just roll up the sail on the
furler (Harken #2) to where we were comfortable.

Frankly, we have never had two foot itis as this boat of ours does everything we need.
