Sailing involves the courage to cherish adventure and the wisdom to fear danger. Knowing where one ends, and the other begins, makes all the difference.

SV CHANTY is almost home. The race was awesome. CD 36 CHANTY took 2nd place in two catagories, in class and overall cruising class. Will post more later. For now I will say that the CD36 is a wonderful boat!
I will never get over crossing the Gulfstream with 30 kt wind opposing the stream and the Matilda (the Monitor Windvane) sailing the boat, or I might say jumping from wave to wave, at 8 kt. It was a majic carpet ride if ever there was one.
Viva la Cuba. Viva la CD.

Sounds very exciting. There's nothing like a Monitor windvane to put the Gulf Stream in its placeLarry McAnally wrote:SV CHANTY is almost home. The race was awesome.
