Hopefully, below is a website connection from BoatUS that gives a tutorial on bleeding a diesel engine. I am not very good at posting other websites, etc. If it cannot be viewed I apologize.
The article itself shows photos of a Yanmar 1GM10. The 1GM10 and the Yanmar 1GM are essentially identical. They were original equipment and installed in most if not all of the CD 25Ds and a lot of the CD 27s. The video is not a Yanmar but is helpful.
For those of us still babying and caring for our elderly Yanmar 1GMs or 1GM10s, I think this may be a helpful tutorial.

Good video. I have yet to learn how to do that and attempt it on my boat. But it's on the To Do List.
