Ships, Clocks, & Stars

Post by Jim Walsh »

Saturday the 19th of September the "Ships, Clocks, & Stars" exhibit kicks off at Mystic Seaport. I attended a presentation by the curator, Dr. Richard Dunn this evening. It was very interesting. Can't wait to see the exhibit.

Just an update. I went to the exhibit and it is fascinating to stand inches away from instruments, both timepieces and sextants, which accompanied such notable historic characters as James Cook and William Bligh on their famous voyages. If you have the opportunity I would take advantage of it.
