Thanks, I try to touch them and then when I get to the store I forget! Thanks for the help.

All of that information is available on this board. Go to the top and click on About Cape Dorys and then here: http://www.capedory.org/cdinfo.html#specs
And the manuals are here: http://www.capedory.org/cdsoalook-group ... inemanuals
All of the information you need would be in the back of the manual.

Thanks, I looked at the part about rigging and it said 5/8 for the fore and back and uppers and 1/2 for the lowers?!? Can this be right? I think, I'm guess here, I think I have something way smaller, like 5/16 and 3/8 or something.

Raven has 3/16 and 1/4 inch wire. I would assume the CD-28 is the same.

I replaced the rigging on Raven a few years back and used Rigging Only. I drove the old wires up there because I wanted to see the place and meet the people but I could have just as well mailed them. I told them I wanted to lengthen the back stay an inch and they give you a fitting to make up the fore stay once you put on the furler foils. It was all very simple and they mailed my new and old wire back in less than a week.

I would at least give them a call before you get too far along. It is nice to find a competent, knowledgeable company with good prices and great service. I have no other relationship with these folks other than being a happy customer, Steve.
