What's the best teak cleaner for cleaning the teak on cape dory's that's the LEAST HARMFUL (non-acidic) to the surrounding deck and hull fiberglass and still gets the job done? I'd rather work a little harder or take a little longer to clean and spare the deck and hull the harsh chemicals of a strong cleaner. Appreciate any replys!

Just use 25% bleach, laundry soap, and water. Scrub with maroon scotch pads. Be sure to wear gloves! Works very well.Steve wrote: What's the best teak cleaner for cleaning the teak on cape dory's that's the LEAST HARMFUL (non-acidic) to the surrounding deck and hull fiberglass and still gets the job done? You might also try using Palmolive dishwashing gel and let it soak then rinse after brushing.Steve wrote: What's the best teak cleaner for cleaning the teak on cape dory's that's the LEAST HARMFUL (non-acidic) to the surrounding deck and hull fiberglass and still gets the job done?
