This could be a Maine Sail project. Tape goo removal evaluation. But then he probably already knows what works well, Steve.

I "third" the motion for 3m adhesive remover. http://amzn.com/B005ENQYEYM It's quite toxic, so use gloves and a respirator, but it works!! Be careful out there!
