Aw..you fellas are too philosophical. My holiday list is a little more "tangible" shall we say.
For Sine Qua Non (CD27)
1. New mainsail with Dutchman system
2. Autohelm 2000 tillerpilot
3. New Harken Traveller.
I think my kids are getting me the Autohelm. If any of you benevolent sailors care to fill in the rest of my list, feel free to do so!

All I want for Christmas Santa, is enough water to launch DeLaMer this spring! Our marina just called, and warned us that if the levels continue to drop over winter (if Superior does not freeze over to prevent evaporation over winter)then they will not have enough water to launch or dock the boats this year. The Lake has never been this low in the towns collective memory.

So maybe we should encourage each Great Lakes Sailor to bring a gallon jug of water up with them each weekend..and drop it into their lake. In a few hundred years...oh well.
So if anyone does cloud seeding for a hobby..I gotta job for ya.

On Blitzen......... can I be there?

Went out for my Christmas sail today with ice on the lifelines, winches and deck this afternoon with my brother from Florida. It was nice being able to handle everything from the cockpit. Had a great time, but hope it warms up some for the next trip out. Can't imagine why there were no other sailors out there.
