This may be a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Does anyone have a trawler lamp they are willing to sell? I am looking at it as a heat source. Any condition would be fine, Steve.

Re: Trawler lamp wanted
Hello Steve, Take a look at an Aladdin brand mantel lamp for heat. They produce up to 3000 BTUs and produce a bright light equivalent to 50-60 watt incandescent bulb. They don't have the nautical look of the trawler lamp but are a quality built lamp that's been around over 100 years at a reasonable price. I also think the Aladdin burns cleaner too. Parts are easy to get if you want to rebuild an old one or something breaks. I've been collecting lanterns for years and have great luck with W T Kirkman lanterns when buying parts and such. You'll find Aladdin has a website to view models. Don't forget to always use a CO detector when burning lamps indoors.
