Schaefer Snatch Cheeks Chunked?

Did your old Schaefer snatch blocks rot out?

Replace the cracked plastic with teak-

A pad of RTV in the short cheek holds the latch closed. I will post pictures of a fully molded one with the next batch.

The pin is stainless and the block can be disassembled for cleaning and lubrication. Because of how the block is made, it does not put tension on the cotter pin when under load.
$40 for four cheeks and two predrilled pins, pre-shaped and ready for finish sanding.

$80 to have your two blocks rebuilt to look like these.

Call 207 239 8655 to discuss. PMs are not working well for me.
