Good morning all
Rhapsody returned to Pensacola yesterday (Dec 3rd). I hope to finish the bottom within the next few days and launch her. Hopefully she still floats! Then head home for the holidays, returning in the new year for some shake down sails. Whats after that remains to be seen.
Fair winds and Merry Christmas to all!

Re: Rhapsody's Return to the Sea
Bill:
Congratulations. Fingers crossed for a smooth launch
If your sailing adventure brings you near Southeast Florida (Miami), I recommend the Coconut Grove Sailing Club for a mooring for a few days to a few weeks. Their website is:
http://www.cgsc.org/
You can call the club at 305.444.4571; dock master is extension 16; general manager (a good friend) is extension 18. The club generally has moorings available on a “first come, first serve” basis. If you tell the club you are friends with "Robert on S/V Bali Ha’i Junior" (1982 Cape Dory 25D) you will only be charged 10% above normal pricing. What a deal.
The sailing club is located in the heart of Coconut Grove with access to restaurants, marine supply stores, supermarkets, etc.

Should you require the services of a Yanmar mechanic for maintenance or repairs while in the Miami area I know one who is excellent. He is smart, honest, and a really decent man. He has solved many diesel problems other mechanics were unable to diagnose.
Also, if you need vehicle transport while at the sailing club I am happy to drive you in my old Chevy truck.
Congratulations. Fingers crossed for a smooth launch
