9 years ago I replaced the traveler on Mahalo with a new one from Garhauer. We have been very pleased with it. At the end of this season I was inspecting it and noticed the center hole where the main sheet fiddle block is attached was showing significant wear. (Note this has been a high wear point on both of the old original travelers (main and staysail) as well as the main traveler on our previous boat so it is something worth inspecting.)
I contacted Garhauer and they shipped me a replacement part free of charge.

I really like these folks. Even though I was not in the market to buy anything, they were very cordial when I spoke to them at the Annapolis Boat show.

Nothing but good words to say about the people and their products.

Re: Garhauer - good people!
I ordered a new main traveler system this past summer. They fabricated perfect custom stainless risers that took minutes to install! The traveler bar was too long ended up being too long with the cant of the deck, so Guido fabricated a new one and shipped it out free of any charge!
Not to mention they are way cheaper and their quality is awesome. I will buy from them whenever they have the product...bar none.

Is there any chance you have photos? I am wondering how different the 36 set-up is from the 330. I have also spoken to the Garhauer reps about changing my traveler and was impressed with both product and price. I'd place the order if I knew exactly what I need . . . but I suspect I will need at least 1 more trip to the boat (currently 8 hours away).

There have been several threads in the past discussing various traveler options. Here is a thread worth looking at, it has pictures of ours as well as some other installations.
